I will list here a bunch of how to write ups for those new to using the forums and posting images and videos etc




So to insert an image click on the image button in the text field when creating a post.


the following text should appear

[image][/image]

You want to put the url to the image inside of those

eg




and you should end up with this

[ryan.ware]

Posting youtube is pretty much the same as an image.. click on the youtube button when you are creating the post and you should get presented with the following tags

[youtube][/youtube]

Now this is the part you have to remember, You only need to post the video ID code, not the entire link... what is the ID code you ask? the ID code is the last jumble of letters and words found at the end of the link here is an example.

- this is the URL : http://youtu.be/32UGD0fV45g
- this is the videos ID code 32UGD0fV45g


so if put in correctly, should look like this when posted

[ryan.ware]

Posting Vimeo videos is pretty much the same as Youtube.. click on the Vimeo button when you are creating the post and you should get presented with the following tags

[vimeo][/vimeo]

Now this is the part you have to remember, You only need to post the video ID code, not the entire link... what is the ID code you ask? the ID code is the last jumble of letters and words found at the end of the link here is an example.

WTH is Sketchfab? Sketchfab is a website used to display 3D content online. It's a far superiour way of sharing your models and textures with your fellow student.

Now, How do I post my Sketchfab model here in the Forums.. well pretty much the exactly same way as the previous two posts.

chuck that code between these tags... note the button also is there when you first create the code
